At our March meeting Janett Rice and Ann Pugh each shared how they make time for art. These are two creative and prolific ladies, and we learned how and where they get their inspiration, what time of day they work, what type of projects they tackle and when and how they stay motivated. Deb Lara also shared some organizational tips.
Jody Cotton spoke to us about her creative journey in April. Along with a trunk show and some funny and poignant stories Jody shared how she keeps inspired. Sharing and teaching what she knows, volunteering and taking classes are some of those ways.
We are so very proud of everyone in our
group who participated in this year’s quilt show. Major kudos to Peg
Cummings and Jody Cotton for co-chairing the show! We thank you from the
bottom of our hearts. We were able to display our work, win our ribbons,
bring our friends and family to see what we do all because you dug deep
within yourselves and unselfishly shared your time and talent with each
one of us.
