We have started to pick up the quilts for the show. We will have the paperwork you will need. We will take a picture of you/quilt section and informational board to help keep us on track. No photos will be viewed by anyone but the quilt show personnel.

The book will stay on the web until after the show.

The deadline for the quilt show registration is now past. February 28th post marks will be excepted.

Anyone entering a quilted item, entering the fashion show, or entering a mini quilt for the auction please, please, please read all of the booklet carefully. We want you to have a great show.

HOTELCLIP We have made arrangements for discounted room rates at both the Fiesta Henderson Casino Hotel and at the Hawthorn Inn and Suites.

Fiesta Henderson Hotel and Casino

At the Fiesta Henderson Casino Hotel. The rate (including the mandatory Hotel Amenity Fee but not the 13% room tax) is $33.95 during the week and $53.95 on Friday and Saturday. If you would like to take advantage of this special rate, call the Fiesta at 1-888-899-7770 and tell them you are with the Desert Quilters of Nevada group code # RCIDQNV. The reservation deadline date is Friday, February 26, 2010. After this date, rooms not covered by a rooming list or individual reservation shall be released from Group’s room block and Hotel may contract with other parties for the use of such rooms. Hotel will continue to accept reservations from Group’s attendees after that date at a space and rate availability basis only. . If the Group room rate is not available, the prevailing room rate will apply.

Hawthorn Suites on the Boulder Hwy

$59.00 plus 12% Occupancy Tax per night (single or double occupancy) a rate of $49 + tax for Thursday night. A $5.00 rebate per room night booked back to DQN for charity of choice. The reservation deadline date is Friday, February 26, 2010. After this date, rooms not covered by a rooming list or individual reservation shall be released from Group’s room block and Hotel may contract with other parties for the use of such rooms. Hotel will continue to accept reservations from Group’s attendees after that date at a space and rate availability basis only. Tell them you are with the Desert Quilters of Nevada group.
